Welcome to the TrilliePlays app (the "App"). The App is owned and operated by Trillie Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the App. Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Use of the App
2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 13, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2.2 User Account: To participate in scavenger hunt games, you may need to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and are liable for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Scavenger Hunt Games & Events
3.1 Participation: The App provides a platform for users to participate in scavenger hunt games organized by various organizations. By participating, you agree to follow the rules and guidelines set by the organizing entity.
3.2 Safety: Your safety is important. Please exercise caution and abide by local laws and regulations while participating in scavenger hunt games. We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or legal issues that may arise during your participation.
3.3 Termination and Cancellations: The organizer of the event reserves the right to terminate, suspend or cancel ongoing or schedule scavenger hunt events, without notice, for any reason. We will, in our best effort, communicate, in advance of, any such termination, cancelation or suspension to participating players.
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership: By submitting content (text, photos, videos, etc.) on the App, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the App.
4.2 Prohibited Content and Language: You agree not to submit content, including your in-game nicknames that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, obscene, disrespectful or infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
5. Privacy
5.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at our Privacy Policy section below. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose your information.
5.2 Location Tracking: The App may utilize location tracking for the sole purpose of enhancing the game experience. We do not share or sell your location information for any other purpose. Your location data will only be used for the active participation in the scavenger hunt games and/or events.
5.3 Information Sharing with Event Organizers: The App provides a platform to various organizations to host and run public or private scavenger hunt events. User information, including but not limited to, name, contact details, and participation history, may be shared with the event organizers for the purpose of event coordination, communication, and prize redemption.
6. Scoring and Leaderboards
6.1 Scores: Participants earn points by finding virtual items at the designated drop zones within the area of the event. Points are awarded based on the points assigned to the item found.
6.2 Leaderboard: A leaderboard will display participant's score and ranking throughout the event.
6.3 Tiebreaker Rule: In the event of a tie in scores and leaderboard rank between two or more participants, the participant who achieves the aggregated score first will achieve the higher rank. Players who achieve the same score later will be placed at lower ranks accordingly.
6.4 Final Results: At the end of the event, winners will be determined according to their final ranks on the leaderboard. Any disputes regarding scoring or leaderboard ranking should be reported to info@trillie.ca promptly.
7. Prizing
7.1 Eligibility: Prizes may be given during each scavenger hunt event. Participants must be over the age of 18 in order to claim or redeem the prize(s) won.
7.2 Organizer's Discretion: Prizes are at the sole discretion of the organizing entity. The event organizer reserves the right to determine the nature and value of prizes awarded, and the eligibility of the player claiming or redeeming the prize.
7.3 Prize Restrictions: Prizes cannot be exchanged or resold and are subject to the terms and conditions of each specific event. The organizer is not responsible for any issues related to the quality or functionality of prizes.
8. Account Deletion Policy
8.1 Account Removal: Users can delete their account at any time via the App or user can send an Account deletion request to info@trillie.ca
8.2 Information Deletion: Once the account is removed, all information, including event participation and prizes won (including unclaimed and unredeemed prizes), will be deleted and cannot be recovered after that.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App, without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms.

a. Event Organizers:- To facilitate scavenger hunt events, we may share relevant information with event organizers, event sponsors and advertisers, including your username, progress, prizes and location data during the event.
- We may engage third-party service providers to assist with various aspects of the App, such as hosting, analytics, and customer support. These service providers may have access to your information for the purpose of providing these services.
- We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
4. Your Choices:
a. Account Information:
- You can review and update your account information at any time through the App.
- You can control the access to location services through your device settings. However, disabling location services may impact your ability to fully participate in scavenger hunt events.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy:The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us, and we will take appropriate measures to delete the information.
